Kraft Foods is attempting to clean up the mess made by the accidental release of a controversial Oreo advertisement that features a breastfeeding baby.
The ad shows a baby feeding from an uncensored breast and holding an Oreo cookie in its hand.
“Milk’s favorite cookie,” it reads at the bottom.
A spokesperson from Kraft told CBS St. Louis that the ad was not intended for mass public consumption.
“We’d like to clarify that Kraft Foods did not create this visual,” a spokesperson said in a statement via e-mail. ... “It was never intended for public distribution or use with consumers. And it has never run in Korea or any other markets.”
Cheil Worldwide, the advertising agency utilized by Kraft, has been credited with creating the design concept. (Warning: Graphic Image in Link)

Actually, this is a brilliant viral marketing campaign “did your hear about the Oreo ad with the breast feeding baby?”. The ad is ‘leaked’ (wink wink), newspapers yap, public snaps, voila! Free adverts! (I think the ad is kind of cute by the way; esp. the way the baby is eying the cookie.)
Genius of Nabisco to leak this. They couldn’t use it any other way and now they have maximum publicity.
It makes me want a bag of Oreos. Those are nice breasts too. I’ll have a couple.

Hey, it’s a nice, well-shaped woman’s breast doing it’s natural function, plus a cute baby holding a cookie. What’s not to like?
