Yes, indeed. Both functional and some very pretty items.

The tale is that the locals convinced an industrialist passing by on a train to locate here by demonstrating the abundant natural gas available by poking holes in the ground and lighting them on fire.

have this in a sugar/creamer. My late SIL's motherinlaw was a huge fan of glass stuff and they would occasionally give me pieces as gifts.

MrT5 used to say that-I had no idea what he was talking about at first-his family was from the wilds of Quebec, but I doubt that is where he got that word.
