The black population in Maine is 1.2%; Vermont is 1.0%; and New Hampshire is 1.1%.

Demographics like that make it oh-so-easy to be liberal. Those New Englanders never have to face the consequences of the stupidity of what liberalism brings.

It reminds me of a line about Indians (feather not dot): "The farther away you're from them, the more noble they are."

I'd like for Nancy Disgrace to live in downtown Philly or Baltimore and have her kids go to the public schools....

From what I understand, many of the tribes did have a highly developed sense of honor and personal worth. I would think that this wouldn't seem any less true as you got closer to them, just less significant.
