I do know that one question on the 6th grade math had no correct answers.
And when a smart kid figures that out...it is distracting for him/her as they continue on with the rest of the test.

Yes, several years ago the NY Board of Regents decided to change “The Old Man and the Sea” to “The Elderly Man and the Sea.”
