So what is your point? 4 more years of Obama????

If that happens, you can thank the GOP for giving us a liberal nominee who many of us warned way back in 2007 that we could not support under any circumstances.

Wow, we didn’t stop Obamacare because people stayed home in 2008 and gave the dems 60 votes in the Senate and a huge advantage in the house. If you really believe what you just wrote, I don’t know why you bother to be involved in politics. If you really believe that Palin, West, Demint etc will just sit back and allow Romney to push left, than you might need to take a break from politics for a while. I did in 2002 when Bush tried to ram amnesty down our throats, and many on this forum called me a traitor, told me to STFU and some even found my personal email and made threats against my family. Whats funny is almost all of them have been banned since then for supporting Guliani. So I know what you are going through, like I said sometimes taking a break for a few days helps. Just my 2cents.

So you’d rather bitch at the RNC than try to save us from destruction? Boy, that will be effective - for the other side.

You missed the point...the public made it quite clear they didn’t want Government Healthcare .....it should have never been brought to a vote.....the people spoke and they were ignored. Did Palin or Demint stop it....no...they did not. The entire system is corrupt.

So you thinking anyone is going to hold Romneys feet to to any fire on our behalf is nonesense....it’s lip service at best.

Thanks for posting. The GOP-e isn’t going to get a lying, liberal scumbag elected on their ticket without vocal opposition. They need to wear their socialist one world order albatross around their necks until it rots off.

I like Newt the best. But I am going to feel a little funny writing his name on the ballot after he has already endorsed the Republican nominee.

He’s a Constitution party troll who’s trying to get Obama re-elected by pretending to support Virgil Goode. And he’s working overtime.

I imagine she will be endorsing and campaigning for the Republican nominee this year, don’t you?

Probably, but there still will be no Sarah Palin on the ticket and Romney is still orders of magnitude worse than McCain ever was.

McCain is not Pro-Gay Marriage and never had a hand in implementing it like ROmney did.

McCain has never been Pro-Abortion like Romney was virulently so.

McCain has never been anti-2nd Amendment as Romney has been by implementing his own version of the "Assault" Weapons ban and supporting the Brady Bill.

McCain has never been in favor of socialized Healthcare like Romney who implemented the father of ObamaCare.

No, you miss the point. What the hell was Palin supposed to do as gov of Alaska to stop a vote by democrat senators. What was Demint supposed to do, he was 1 of 40 that voted against it. Why was Demint 1 of 40? Because a whole lot of “conservatives” stayed home, and many even voted for Obama, according to exit polls. If you put more tpartiers in congress, you can stop this from happening again. We should be putting our efforts into getting rid of Hatch and Lugar, instead of tearing each other apart over Romney.

***Did Palin or Demint stop it....no...they did not.***

How was DeMint supposed to stop Obama’s health care? The democrats had a near super majority in the Senate and Nancy Pelosi controlled the House. What else could he do when he was in the minority?

And how was Sarah Palin supposed to stop Obama’s health care plan? At the time, she had only been elected governor of Alaska for two short months.

edit: Palin was governor for one year and two short months when Obamacare was passed. But still, how was the newly elected governor of Alaska supposed to stop it?

You Still miss the point....this should have never been brought to a vote...never...'the people' spoke and said no...they phoned...they marched...they said no. None stopped it.. the show went on none the less....and it was a show. We can split hairs all we want but the bottom line is they put it it to a vote... and the 'people's' will was ignored.

[political parties]...." may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people.... and to usurp for Themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion"......

The poster mentioned Palin and Demint holding Romneys feet to the fire....I say none will...and none have...this does not work...the Republicans cannot and will not hold the line when they have it in their power to do so. And they certainly won’t with Romney.....he’s already shown as Governor he will by pass checks and balances to do what he wants........how people can even imagine Romney won’t do so as well is mindboggling.

Romney nor Obama are conservative...rather oppose conservativism. Heck Romney comes right out and says he’s ‘Progressive’ and still you people cover your ears!

Do you not understand how our government works? The Dems had the POTUS, an unstoppable 60 votes in the Senate, and a large lead in the House. How in the hell could anyone stop it, short of bloodshed? Did you want Demint to shoot a fellow Senator? I mean seriously, if you didn’t get the votes in the election, you have no power. And if people stay home again that is where we will be in January.

I do not need lessons from you about our government and how it “doesn’t” work...especially since those in government have broken the system itself and all make their own rules as they go along.

You’re point was somehow thinking our guys will hold Romneys feet to the fire....I’m saying Romney will do just what he wants to. The system is broken...can you not get that?

If you believe that, then what are you going to do about it? Not vote? Vote 3rd party? Move to Canada? I am being serious, there are very few options, and all but one of them gives Emperor Obama at least 4 more years. And if you think Obamacare is bad, wait till they get what they really want, single payer.

The people voted.

Really? Romney outspent Santorum 55-1 in Wisconsin, got nothing but positive coverage from the bought-and-paid-for "conservative" media and won by 7%.

Romney bought the nomination fair and square.

So you’d rather bitch at the RNC than try to save us from destruction? Boy, that will be effective - for the other side.

Destruction was made inevitable the second Romney became the nominee. Forgive me for opting not to participate in the madness.

And furthermore, I don't believe in rewarding bad behavior. When the RNC jams a liberal down our throats, they deserve to have him vomited back in their faces.

No it won't, judging by the heat I am now taking for doing it.

You are over the target. I'm happy to be your tail-gunner.
