Obama says, "I assume that people meant what they said when they said it. That at least has been my practice." He then goes on to say, "If there are others who have said one thing and now suggest that they would do something else, I would let them explain."
Should we Freep all the things this guy said that have not come to pass ..
[i] I will not let unemployment get above 8%
[ii] I will not sign a bill that has not been posted on line for 72 hours.
It has to do with a guy saying he “means what he says, and does what hey says” when his track record is he has done nothing that he said he would do

But, none the less, in 2006 and 2008 American voters wento the polls to as the t.v. talking heads so orgamistacly said, "America Decides". They had a choice between someone with few principles and scrupples and moderate morals and character Or someon with no principles and scrupples and bad morals and character. By a lagge majority they said, via their votes, that thwy wanted those with no principles and scrupples and bad morals and character to lead them. We and they are now reaping the results of their choices.
If you mean McCain he has no principles other than "it's about me," no scruples and no morals at all. Totally bought and paid for by Soros. Tried to arm muzzie terrorists. Re-wrote laws to harm POWs. Authored a law that was the worst attack on the 1st Amendment in the nation's history. Did more to promote Global Warming and Cap&Trade than any other congresscritter bar none.

I was impling between Republicans and Democrats. Then the Republicans had at least one principle and scrupple, though I would not want to name them. But, what the heck, nobody is perfect. Now, 2012 the field is even narrower. I would rate them even.
Oh. Well, a lot more than the head of the fish is rotting that’s for sure.
