After resigning his position Tuesday for purchasing a $710,000 Marquis Yacht with bed tax money, new developments continued to emerge, as the OCSO in conjunction with the Northwest Florida Mortgage Fraud Task Force issued an arrest warrant for the 52-year-old Bellinger Friday morning.

According to a Friday morning press release, an ongoing investigation by the sheriff’s office revealed that Bellinger used TDC funds to purchase his $747,000 home in August 2011. It also shows that some of the funds used might have come from money provided to the TDC by BP following the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
