Evidently that wasn't enough for the folks here despite JR's call for a truce which I guess I misunderstood as a rallying call for solidarity behind our new GOP nominee. How dumb was that?
Since it's apparent that the majority of this site's members will not be voting for Romney and their attacks on both me and others who misunderstood JR's message have been relentless, I have decided to forego my support of Romney and instead, give my vote to Obama in accordance with the wishes of the majority.
I chose Obama since the third party hold outs still can't come to an agreement on who they will support. And since a vote for the third party unknown is a vote for Obama, I figure I'll just vote for him since I know the name.
I hope everybody is happy now that I am no longer a GOP supporter but more importantly, I hope everyone involved in the third party support (aka Romney hatred) will allow me into their group and embrace me as a friend..... We are indeed brothers!
"Impress upon children the truth that the exercise of the elective franchise is a social duty of as solemn a nature as man can be called to perform; that a man may not innocently trifle with his vote; that every elector is a trustee as well for others as himself and that every measure he supports has an important bearing on the interests of others as well as on his own.
