The really infuriating thing about those who refuse to vote for our republican nominee is that they are waiting for some magical perfect candidate. Come on people - we get the chance to vote for a President once every four years and you want to keep waiting? No one is perfect - but we know how bad barry is. Right now we know - and he will get worse. How self hating do you have to be to subject yourself and everyone you know to worse than we have right now?

The Comanche chief in the movie, “The Searchers”, was called ‘Cicatrix’ by Mexican traders, and ‘Scar’, by John Wayne’s character.

But, you see, if they vote for a person who supports abortion and gay marriage like Romney, then God will blame them.

That’s the theory.

More people voted for Walker yesterday than for the 2 Democrats running in the primary. If that is any measure of things.

I’m lost.

Isn’t a scar, in general, “new connective tissue over a healing sore or wound?” What makes a scar a cicatrix?

Actually, cicatrices are female cicaters, which plague potater crops every 17 years.

It’s not self-hating at all. It’s quite the opposite. It’s self-loving. I’m talking obsessive, Onan-level self-loving. These people put themselves ahead of the Republic because they have decided that their self-defined “purity” is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ON EARTH, and mathematical reality be damned, they will not take a step that they do not deem perfect. No matter it leads to Obama, no matter that people that they were willing to run the country like Newt or Santorum are obviously smart enough to do the proper thing - no one, nothing will “force” them to do anything.

I have a five-year-old at home. I understand the “thought” process.

My sister moved to WV for a teaching job back in the ‘80s. There had been a murder of a woman by her husband. Dragging by the hair, etc. The editorials and letters to the editor were a riot. Locals were plenty pissed that some editor who moved to their area would presume to tell them what they could DO TO their women. OMGosh, my sister saved papers to show me. I could not believe what I was reading. Of COURSE, the editorials would shun this, while the letters took the opposing view. This went on for a couple of years while there was an arrest, trial and so on. NEVER would I have believe it. Hillbilly doesn’t begin to explain it.

I’m sorry, but that is not true. First of all, there were 4 Democrats running yesterday and one “fake” Democrat — just to make sure that there would be a Primary — to keep all but one of the dems from pulling out at the last minute. In addition, there was a “fake” Republican opposing Walker, just to be sure that the Republicans turned out and voted on the Republican ticket (instead of creating mischief on the Dem ticket).

If you subract the votes from the “fake” Dem and also subtract the votes from the “fake” Republican running on the Republican side, that adds up to about 25,000 votes. And then give those 25,000 votes to Walker. Walker squeaks out a victory over the sum of the remaining Democrats.

So, it is going to be very close in June unless the Dems stay home, and we turn out even more Republicans.

If my husband was voting D, he’d have to “take matters into his own hands” if you know what I mean. No way I could accept a democrat in the family.

I'm wondering if Citrix is still licking the cicatrix resulting from the departure of many subscribers who devotedly listen to Rush…
