In this case “pro tempore” means life.
I agree. And don’t expect Congress or the Courts to stop him. Of course, moat of them will also be taken somewhere “for their protection.”

Those actions would bode very poorly for anyone driving a car with a bho bumper sticker, TSA agents, feds at any level.

If Obama cancelled the election it would be the start of CW II, as states leave the union to form a new nation the CSA (Constitutional States of America) Texas would lead the way—Houston the new capital. Civil War would end the USA as a great power—and usher in a new world—maybe a better one.
That might well turn out to be the best thing he could possibly do for the country, as it would guarantee the commencement of the second Revolutionary War, and the final defeat and elimination of the leftist pestilence that afflicts America.
I almost hope he's foolish enough to try such a thing.
