Sounds a lot like now, as the school systems and CPS try to put children in charge of their parents. And, part of the Strong's Concordance definition of the word "women" in this verse is "adulteress", so we're talking unseemly women. I'm guessing more like the Pelosi/Hillary types, not the Thatcher/Meir types.
Yes, it is the men that are the problem really. If they were were just halfway strong with the ladies then we would be much more in God’s order of happiness. The women are filling a very real void and any discussion of or blaming of women without including this is indeed misogynistic and hurting the conservative cause.
