The prom is the biggest night of the senior high school year.
Its a time to pluck up the courage to ask out a date, dust down your best suit or buy a new dress, and show the world that youve morphed from kid to adult.
Except the transition isnt always that smooth.

I don't come around here too often anymore, but I stumble in this fine May day and find this august body all butt-hurt over something Huggiebummbler did or said. (Personally, I think he largely misunderstood, and I resemble that)
So, to lighten the mood I present some humour...old skrool prom style. Lots of good time memories at the linked article and loads more from their source.
And I'm so delighted my lovely date and I were among the chosen few to be featured here. BTW, naturally I'm on top.
That scene reminds me of a Larry the CG DVD where he talked about this fat sister’s wedding. All her attendants were in brown dresses. He said they looked like a line of UPS trucks across the front of the church.....and when they played “CONVOY” over the PA system, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! ;o)
They should’ve done red and white checkerboards ,, I love the Italian restaurant look.
Oldie but goodie!
Probably one of the funniest movie scenes of all time is the beginning part of “There’s Something About Mary” where the guy has a “zipper malfunction” just prior to going to the prom. I won’t get more graphic than that. Either you know what I’m talking about or you have to see this movie.
Great movie. I’m partial to the hilarity of Cameron Diaz waltzing around unawares that her impromptu hair gel fix was not hair gel per se . They don’t write ‘em like that anymore.
Ahhhhhhh.......prom memories........I even washed the truck....took awhile because those grain trucks are pretty big......I went to shift into fourth, and my hand slipped off the shifter knob......she screamed and I dumped a ton of barley on main street.....later on, I sowed some wild oats with that girl......our son’s middle name is Oats......her Dad had three shotguns......
All or none of that is true. You can't prove anything.
