If you like Sherlock, take a look at The Last Enemy, also starring Benedict Cumberbatch. It's a 2008 five-episode Masterpiece Contemporary series which vividly presents a world of 24/7, 360° hyper-surveillance. Like 1984 on steroids. You can view it on Hulu, but Netflix has captions, which are necessary to understand the Irish guy.
