my girls did not have home ec and thus have NO IDEA how to set a table! i am having to teach this now at ages 17 and 23. Granted, it’s my fault for not having them doing it at a younger age at home, but home ec taught me how to set a table!

Make the a-ok sign with both your left hand and your right. The left hand makes a lower case b, which means the bread plate is to the left. The right hand makes a lower case d, which tells you the drink is on the right. Also helpful when in a banquet setting, with 12 people jammed around a table meant for 10, and you don’t know which glass is yours.
