I have a relative who is an economic lefty now saying that Obama’s “gay marriage” comment and general stance on moral issues are pushing him towards switching to the Republicans. Not all economic leftists are comfortable with Obama’s identification with immorality.

Not all economic leftists are comfortable with Obama’s identification with immorality. This is correct. A huge part of the Black and Hispanic portions do not want gay marriage. Dick Morris is wrong that endorsing gay marriage will hurt his chances for re-election.
And vulnerable Democratic Senators are bailing out on him now.
