There is a legend in my family told to me by my daddy, Wolfgang, that the ancient and founder of all clans of poodle-kind wrote as an ancient scribe in Southwestern Germany many thousands of years ago, of a legend that a puppy wolf was rescued by a tribe of 'non harry people' and they nurtured him. In time, a marauding band of harry people with funny eyebrows attacked the non-harrys, the Wolf protected his adopted tribe, and thus a partnership of the eons was formed.
