I did ask my wife once “should I just pull out a gun and shoot um?”
I have said the same thing. I also sit while my wife drives and she will not use her horn at all. I scares the crap out of me.

I am kind of leery about blowing the horn, afraid I will wake one of the jokers up and they will run into you.
If he was ‘tracking and photographing’ groups of ‘motorcycle gangs’ he is really lucky he can tell his story.
