Any fiancial uses it has are small compared to the key use, which is simply people talking about themselves and hoping they are 'liked'

And you know this how?

Yes, it has a social use to me, but that is small in comparison to the financial gains I have made because of it. So once again it has been shown to you that it is not useless. Another usefulness it has - a friend of mine had a stroke this afternoon. His wife called a friend and that friend posted a prayer request to FB, prayer chains were started and got quicker word of mouth than any phone tree could have managed.

You find it useless, fine. Others of us find it useful. How about being an adult and admit your opinion is not the be all and end all?

By the way - your continued posting on the subject is purely social and you are hoping people will "like" your opinion on the issue. No different than using FB. Except for one little difference, FB postings can be useful, your posts here on this subject are not.

Once again, for those who can't have a hard time reading simple English, whatever 'use value' FB has, it is small in proportion to the fact that it's primary use is social.

Now, because you can post some positive things about FB, doesn't mean there aren't negatives as well, like loss of privacy and people being victimized by criminals.
