Drop Biden Into the Supreme Court
White House Dossier ^ | May 22 2012 | Keith Koffler

Posted on 05/24/2012 2:46:36 AM PDT by Jacquerie

There is growing talk that Vice President Biden will be booted off the ticket by President Obama. But dumping Biden begs an urgent question: Where to dump him?

Just dropping him in Delaware to roost and reminisce is an indignity that would redound politically against the president, who would seem harsh and ungrateful.

Obama could try to convince one of the two septuagenarian liberals on the Court to remove themselves after the spring term ends next month. Or, he could assure Biden of an eventual appointment and announce that Biden will not run for reelection because Obama would have to appoint a vice president after Biden resigns to go on the Court, and vice presidents should be elected.

Make him ambassador to Grand Fenwick...should keep him occupied for a while.

That would certainly put a fine point on Obama’s opinion of the court. If you’re too stupid to be Vice President, you can be a Supreme Court justice.

Good news - if Biden replace Ginsberg, it won’t affect the voting - unless Biden so disgusts the remaining liberal court members that they start siding with the sane wing of the SCOTUS, Scalia et al.

Quite right, though I don’t think we should concede four seats to enemies of our Constitution.

Kraut makes a good point...
Also, Hitlery may not TRUST Obama in the aftermath of an election...once he is done using her for possible re-election, he doesn’t owe her anything. She may be reduced to being a mere funeral attendee for foreign vice-secretaries of agriculture.

And any “promise” of a Supreme Court nomination would likely also be met with skepticism...besides, it would have to pass the (hopefully Republican) Senate.
