I think you got it. Look at the Trailer for GI Joe, and the plotline and ask yourself if the Dems want people's heads going in that direction.

I would add that the plotline, that the US government had fallen under the control of a terrorist organization, requiring that the betrayed elite military unit seek to “start the ‘Second American Revolution’ by waging black operations against the Cobra that have taken control of the U.S government” might appeal just a BIT TOO MUCH to certain people to be allowed just before the election.
