WTH is on her nose???

If I had to guess, she is trying to blend in with the locals by wearing a bone in her nose.

I think she blew it by opting for the wishbone design.

No, if it was canned, it would have featured him staring dreamily into her eyes or looking at the camera instead off toward the ground with a "What the hell did I get myself into?" look.

I went to the Michelle Obama facebook page and it is indeed there, along with 17,566 comments, one of which is from Gedion Njeru who asks, “Where was this Kenya?”

In Dreams from My Father, Obama claims he went to Kenya for the first time in 1988. In his visit to Kenya in 2006, he claims it was in 1987. Some say his first visit can be traced to 1983 when he went to mourn the guy he considered his father who had died in 1982. While Barry and Michelle "officially" met in 1989 in Chicago, he claimed they had met in school, though she graduated from Harvard Law in the spring of 1988 and he started in the fall. Could he have known her before 1988 or 1987 and she had gone along with him on his 8 week trip of self-discovery to Kenya and that's where this picture was taken?

It's funny that his memory of all these things is just as Swiss-cheesy as his memory of his half-brother, Mark, son of Ruth. Supposedly he had met him twice before, once in 1988 and another that would have to have been in 1983 or so (see the Cashill piece linked to above) where he talked to him and his mother, Ruth, and later in the week had a long heart-to-heart talk over lunch. But it wasn't during his 2006 visit to Kenya because Mark had been living in China since 2002. In 2009 on his trip to China, where his brother and his Chinese wife lived, in response to a question by a CNN reporter about Mark and his novel about living with an abusive father, Obama said, "Well, you know, I don’t know him well. I met him for the first time a couple of years ago. He stopped by with his wife for about five minutes during the trip."

Not a very flattering picture of the First Grifters, but I’m sure we all have had photos taken that are not good reflections of who we are.

It looks like a stream of tears going down the side of her nose...and it looped around the bottom of her.nose due to her possibly having her head tilted down to the right...maybe she had her in his chest crying right beforehand.

Take a close look...and the solid line of it is noticeable due to light reflection from the sun.

Definately looks like tears to me. It would explain both of their expressions and the way they're hugging.

Compare the knuckle position on his right hand with the knuckle position on his life in relation to the pinky finger (not Pinky’s finger). It looks as though they photo-shopped a ring and a new knuckle. The joint is way to large on the left hand.

Is that a nose chain on the wookie? It’s definitely not going to hold if she starts barking alot.

Looking closely at this image, the figures seem to be photoshopped onto the background. Regardless, He does not look too happy to be with her... and she does not have a ring on the wedding finger, yet he does.

There is a fuzzyness in the image of his body on the left side of the photo, yet her image edges are crisp.

I have never seen this picture of Obama and Moochelle. Supposedly this is on their honeymoon. Where is this picture taken and why is it taken there?

According to Obama's uncle, Sayid Obama, Obama visited Kenya with Michelle in 1992 when they were engaged and then again after they were married in 2006 (See page 25, The Obama Nation by Jerome R. Corsi).
