ANYONE BUT OBAMA.

The stakes are too high. I would have preferred a more Conservative nominee, but it didn’t happen. I don’t have to like it, and I don’t.

Nan demo nai...

Bitch about the rules being rigged to favor establishment candidates all you want, I fully agree, the fact remains Mittens played the game by the rules, and he won.

We need to stop grousing about that point and start working hard to make sure he selects a solid CONSERVATIVE running mate. Just because we can’t get everything we want doesn’t mean we can’t get a large chunk of it.

However, that is not the most important thing.

The most important thing is OBAMA MUST BE DEFEATED. I pledge to do absolutely everything in my power to make that happen.

No election is more important than this one.

Ronin, I understand your thoughts. I really do.

However, we are in this situation: We have a choice between terminal cancer (Romney) or Obama (a cyanide pill).

I understand those that choose terminal cancer. It gives one time to get ones affairs in order.

But I won't be voting for either cancer or cyanide. I'm fortunate to live in a state, Georgia, that is a lock for Romney. I can vote my conscience without effecting the result. I will write in my candidate.

I do understand if you choose cancer over cyanide, though.

If Romney had play by the rules many would Not be so mad (besides the fact he doesn't care about social conservatives at all).

Excellent post in #21, Ronin. I agree... I will also vote ANYONE BUT OBAMA this November. I would never dream of sitting out such an important election like this one, nor wasting my precious vote on some candidate who could never win, nor even wants the job.

So many of us thought Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter and Clintoon were bad. Good grief... look at what we're dealing with in the White House now. It's obvious what we all need to do - the stakes are far too high this time.

God help this country if The One gets a second term...

Great post Ronin! I posted this question as a barometer to gauge Freeper sentiments, and you summed it up quite well. We need to accept the sad fact that a RINO is once again the nominee, but is better than the abomination currently in the White House. A true conservative running mate is a big step. The key now is to elect conservatives to Congress to hold Romney accountable and drag him to the right. This election is EXTREMELY important, and I too pledge to do all I can to ensure Obama’s defeat. I shudder to think where we will be in four years if he is reelected. I will hold my nose and support Romney
