Trying to find download for Acer Aspire Animated Screensaver - accidentally deleted mine.
This is the one with the New Age Jellyfish Ballet music - very soothing ...
Website I used to get it from no longer hosts the file ...

The .msi file for the screensaver is not being hosted by Mediafire anymore, although I was able to find a .rar file from an UNTRUSTED source.
This was BEFORE I posted this thread. And, AMAZINGLY, I had used this LITTLE search engine named ... Ummm ... GOOGLE. I could NOT find the .msi file ANYWHERE - just the .rar file.
Being wary of UNTRUSTED software, I was hoping that maybe I could get pointed to another site that hosted the .msi file. It just makes life easier - THAT is why I posted on FR.
NOT getting any help, I had to extract the 6 files from the .rar file on a DIFFERENT computer and then had to open them in a text editor in order to find out where the files had to be manually copied on the other computer.
STILL, after finding the locations and copying, the screensaver had NO SOUND and moving the mouse DID NOT restore Windows XP [I had to click the mouse].
SO, I had to then open up the text editor and change THREE switch commands in the .dat file [MouseMove from 0 to 1, MovieBgSound from 0 to 1, and MuteSound from 1 to 0].
THEN, everything worked - wasted time out of my life ...
A MAJOR PAIN !!!

If you ever have probs with yer 'puter and need to post on FR, I hope you keep this in mind and HOPEFULLY you won't get snide comments from the Peanut Gallery - like I did ...
