LOL! My rain gauge is reading 5”. We lost power shortly before 9 - facebooking by oil lamp was interesting to say the least!
The one window we think about checking for incoming rain was the one behind our bed - so we had to flip the mattress and change the sheets by flashlight! Then both my husband and I had a brain fart - he asked me if there was anything in the dryer and I told him there was a load in there. He took them out and put them on the table and then was going to tumble the pillows that had gotten damp. I said good idea and then we just looked at each other realizing what we had said. The dryer is ELECTRIC!!!!!
We had a good laugh and then went to bed. Power came back on shortly after midnight. All is good.
Modern Man & Woman when the electricity goes to sleep. LOL..Been there, done that, got caught ouside in a downpour...
