What is the most basic, simplest hydrocarbon that we can detect on Titan from here?

We sent a Gas Chromatograph and Mass Spectrometer to Titan on the Huygens probe.

And what would a gas cromatograph and a mass spectrometer have told us about Terra? And whether there were asphaltics?

Zip. Nada. Nothing.

It does give us some information on the above-ground atmosphere.

Nothing for underground.

Any seismic devices included?
