'Happy Days' actress Erin Moran living in trailer park

These are not “Happy Days” for Joanie Cunningham actress Erin Moran.

She’s broke, living in an Indiana trailer park and looking haggard well beyond her 51 years, according to the National Enquirer.

Moran and husband Steve Fleischmann, 45, are reportedly living hand-to-mouth at the Berkshire Pointe Mobile Home Park in New Salisbury, Ind., where they’re said to be caring for his ailing mom.

It’s a long fall for the actress, best known as Ron Howard’s wisecracking little sister on one of America’s most beloved sitcoms.

She appeared in 236 episodes of “Happy Days” between 1974 and 1984 before doing her short-lived spin-off “Joanie Loves Chachi.”

The couple lost their Southern California home to foreclosure in 2010.

“Life hasn’t been kind to Erin since the foreclosure of her home,” a family friend said.

Despite these tough times, pals admire Moran’s dedication to her sick mother-in-law.

“She and Steve moved in with his ailing mother at the trailer park a few weeks back. Erin is like an angel to her mother-in-law. She cooks and cleans for her and takes care of her personal hygiene,” the family pal observed...

While Moran cares for her mother-in-law, Fleischmann reportedly brings home the bacon with a meager Walmart job...

Saw him the other night with gary Cooper in “They Came to Cordura.”

He suffered a severe back injury making the movie which hurt him until the day he died.

She should return to California—work at Dinner Theaters, or do Commercials or something. Lots of Low budget horror films need actresses. Maybe when things are settled with her mother. Even Kato Kalin got work. She still has a name and—i believe talent. That’s all you need in Hollywood town.

Woof ! Looks like she got residual cheeks instead of residual checks.

Next time, read the contract, Erin.

Unless she had an agent like most hollywierd people do. Trouble is many of them turn out to be shysters themselves.

The Beach Boys did the same thing, they sold the airing rights to their catalog in the 1970s and it cost them dearly (in opportunity costs).

I know a former wife of Denis Wilson, and do know that her two sons still get nice annual sums from his royalties.

I've always thought of trailers as being like treehouses.

Who wouldn't like to live in one at least once in their life?

I wonder if David still enjoys those royalties as an older casino performer?

There’s a lot to be said for being satisfied with what we have, who we are and where we are. - I just snacked on two peanut butter and crackers. Feel satisfied.

I think the whole nation would be far better off if that attitude were prevalent. After all the national attitude seems to be that we're all entitled to more than we have.

Ron’s brother Clint and Scott Baio(Chachi) are actually both conservatives. Too bad Baio can’t seem to get any work these days. Clint’s IMDB is quite impressive.

She doesn’t look that bad for 51, and she could easily get new roles in local productions. No question.

Hey, when ya got nothing else, an old trailer looks pretty good. At least it did to us liking it in 1970 rural Alaska with winter coming on.

I spent a summer in northern Michigan living in an old trailer with no water or electricity while earning enough to get started on rent for a house.

I used to tell my girlfriend “Someday I’ll earn enough money to take you to McDonalds and we’ll even go inside and have a regular sit down meal.”

LOL. I too can remember when McDonalds was considered an extravagant pleasure.

I have a little weekend place in the Ozarks. I recently described it to someone by citing small shacks to mansions in the area and telling him that up the hill from me was a guy that I thought was cooking meth and he was more honest and civil than the banker that lived six places downhill.

The proletariat is not the poor. The proletariat is the portion of the population that gives nothing to society but its progeny.

My neighbors are much wealthier than I am but it doesn’t matter. Once they figured out that I have no desire for what they have they knew they can leave their homes unlocked and go to town and I’ll keep an eye on things.

God bless her for taking care of her sick mother-in-law. She’s a rare type of earthly angel you don’t see much nowadays. I know, because my dear sweet wife did the same thing for my elderly sick mother up until mom’s death last year. I am so blessed to have such a selfless, giving wife.
