Shorter summers starting later, lots and lots of rain apparently going back to weather patterns I can remember from the late sixties, some quite welcome thunder storms after a long period of their almost total absence, and now I’m sitting here wrapped up in a blanket because it’s so darn cold I can barely type, and this from the southern border region of the Sunshine State, Queensland.

The last really hot summer we had was in 1998. I remember it like yesterday. The liars must all be waiting for an entire generation to die BUT WE REMEMBER!

These guys like to play tricks with averages of median temps or not whichever suits their purpose better. When you have rainy summers the temp may not drop anywhere near as much at night compared to a clear night sky so the average of the median temps may be higher even though the summer may not have been anywhere near as hot. I love our very hot dry summers here and I work outside and at night so I am very aware of the weather.
