I searched tomato anthracnose and learned a lot. I believe this is what the problem is. Our little garden is on a slope that drains so we are are in good shape there. I had thought about leveling it out by making it a raised bed but it is good that I didn't.

All the fungi, viruses, and creepy crawlers I ever had didn't even come close to doing the amount of damage a pair of young groundhogs did to my vegetable garden last year.
