House Republicans are charging head first into their most direct conflict with President Barack Obama’s administration over the extent of executive branch power, as they prepare to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress on Wednesday.

Holder and Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) failed to reach an agreement on what documents the administration would fork over to help Republicans investigate the Fast and Furious program, a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives operation that put guns into the hands of Mexican cartels.

Holder’s meeting with Issa was for one purpose only.

To pick off as many RAT votes as he can on the vote.
It has been reported that 31 democrats will vote for
contempt of Holder. He is trying to reduce the RAT
vote flight, so Zero can say this is a GOP witch hunt.

When it all boils down to it, I think you will be correct in your observation.

They all lack ANY balls whatsoever.

Correct. I believe Issa has been working behind the scenes to gain support across the aisle. I'm wondering if most of these 31 are from the Southwest where even the Dem constituents are upset about the facts.

Although it it is outrageous that one of our citizens and government officials was killed as a result of this, it amazes me that no one seems to be particularly concerned about the Mexicans in Mexico. You might say, “good riddance, maybe the criminals will just kill each other there”, but certainly there was collateral damage with the ordinary citizens of Mexico. Wars have been fought for less.

Isn’t providing arms to internal enemies of another country a violation of 18 USC 960?

The lefties probably dig up dirt on them, then threaten to release it if they don't back down.

“The lefties probably dig up dirt on them, then threaten to release it if they don’t back down.”

I think you are exactly right......I have been saying all along that most of these people in Congress have skeletons in their closets and are scared and should be replaced with people that are not in the same situation.
