Cheating IS baseball. Players have always done whatever they could to gain an advantage over the other team. This reads as though something novel has occurred. If there is a pitcher in the majors who has scuffed a ball, or thrown a grease or spit-ball to get a little more action into his pitches, I’d like to see him, because he’s one rare bird.

Joel Peralta.
Excessive pine tar on a glove is kind of a judgement call in my opinion. Its a far cry from a corked bat which is an obvious cheat.

Most of the people who have tried, have been caught... Really?!? How do we know that? If they didn't get caught, we never knew they tried to cheat. For all we know, 95% could be cheating and only 5% get caught.
