Disturbing news. The media sided with Hatch for reason of his friendly history with the other side of the aisle for decades, and with Ted Kennedy. Dan didn’t have machine money. The Tea Party didn’t quite get the job done for Dan in Utah, who was left hanging on the hook by Sarah PAC ads on top of an already up hill fight from the beginning.

Sarah Palin and Mark Levin both endorsed Senator Hatch. What do they know? Maybe Dan Liljenquist isn't so great. Mark Levin mentioned Senator Hatch’s battles for a balanced budget amendment. If Hatch can help lead a turnaround in government, that's great with me, but he's been there a very long time. There comes a time when even the good guys should retire and hand off the reins to new blood. Instead, we have guys who apparently think they're owed senator for life.
