I have been chatting with a number of people who voted for Obama in 2008. I have noticed during the last two years that quite a few of them have commented that Obama was not who they thought he was. They really believed that Obama was someone unique and different compared to the candidates of the past. They all thought he was so special. Quite a few were taken in (or should I say hypnotized) by his speaking skills. I am not sure what they thought Obama would bring to the White House and what he would do for Americans, but they all expected him to be worthy of all the love he received during election season.
Now many of those who voted for him have become upset and shocked at what he has done since he took office, and are greatly worried for the future. Many have expressed tremendous remorse in voting for him. One woman told me she fell for the hype (she fell in love with the way he spoke), but now looks back and wonders what the hell she was thinking in supporting him.
I told her point-blank that she was a stupid idiot for voting for him.
She did not say anything in response.
Anyone else with similar stories of buyer's remorse out there?
People I know voted for Obama as an anti Bush. Now they sick of Obama. The die hards Obamaites are still in his corner.
My Cousins wife is the biggest lib I have ever met, and she has been upset with Obama for years.

Obama was elected because he was a non clinton in the Democratic Primary, and because he was the NON BUSH in the general.
Romney will win the General Election by a landslide because he is not Obama.
I can tell you countless stories of folks who voted for him in ‘08 who have no intention of doing so again. Obama has completely alienated the blue dog democrat (ie working class white democratic voter) There is no way he will win re-election, its not even going to be close... best he can do with a perfect campaign is 42-43% of the popular vote, and his campaign is anything but perfect, its in a complete shambles and while I am sure it will regain some footing at points between now and november, it will fall off track again.
Remember, Obama has never had to face a tough campaign or any true criticism, he and those around him are neophites and amateurs pretending they know what they are doing.
Romney literally has to do nothing but sit back, run a boring campaign and he’ll win by 12-13 points, because the election isn’t about the republican, never was, its a referendum on Obama, and he’s going to lose it horribly.
And one less vote for him.
I hear ya. My brother voted for him, Lord knows why. Now he won’t even admit it he’s so ashamed. Every so often, he does that “know it all” thing big brothers tend to do. All I have to do to shut him up is ask “now, who’d you vote for again?”

Never dreamed that the dude actually had voted for Obama. He literally hung and shook his head and said: “I was deceived.” I said: “What???? Are you telling me you voted for Obama?” He said: “I’m so ashamed to say it, but yes I did; I was deceived.”
Obama’s base is even starting to turn on him. Remember the “Obama Girl”? The YouTube sensation in 2008? Well, she was on Hannity the other day and there was a thread on here as well........ She’s not endorsing Obama this year. She’s had to move back in with her parents because of the Economy. Some Democrat office holders are NOT going to the Dem Convention in North Carolina in September because to be identified with Obama could cost them their election this year. Sen. Joe Manchin of WV is one of them. And, as of today...
