Upstate is actually a series of hospitals specializing in different areas. One specializes in peds. One is a level 1 trauma center and has a burn unit, which is what we use it for. There is a cancer hospital and other things. I just know my trauma and burn patients get flown there. Binghamton is just a level 2 trauma center. PA has different designations, that’s just what they call them here in NY.
I was out to lunch down near Binghamton today. The couple who sat across from me mentioned Obama and my ears perked up. They were trashing Obama and, though not loud, were not exactly quiet either. I had to strain a bit to get the gist, but they were trashing him, HC and the economy. When they can do that and attract NO looks a mile from Suny Binghamton, it gives me hope. Almost a surreal experience.
OK, cleaning the patio with my son and we found mouse poop. I am scared to death of mice. Can’t stop shaking. He is finishing w/out me. I will go back out when it is all gone. It’s freaking me out.
Get a cat.
