Really? I can pull up the bill. I believe Reagan was not entirely apprised of how much it would aid in the advancement of abortion, and the regret of it was what galvanized his solid hatred of abortion later.

That’s the other thing about Reagan, there were several things he did,that he later said he regretted. Guy had stones to admit mistakes and not gloss over them. Buck stopped with him.

Reagan had a solid dislike of abortion even in the beginning, most people did. But he honestly thought he would be helping women with “health problems.” He did not know the dems and socialists would use it for every little thing.
