Rush is right.

The Obamacare decision is a disaster, and Obamacare itself is a disaster.

Arguing “tax” vs. “penalty” is a distraction.

Discussing Robert’s mindset, or trying to find a “silver lining”, is a distraction.

The one and only thing to do now is to communicate to our fellow Americans that Obamacare is a disaster, it is the law of the land, and the one and only way to repeal it is to elect GOP majorities to both houses of Congress AND elect Mitt Romney President.

Again, Rush is right. Exactly right.

It is the FR He-Man Mitt Haters Club who are wrong, and they are among the target audience of Rush’s message today.

If you don’t see the most damaging Supreme Court ruling in two generations to be of sufficient urgency to be the topic of attention for this week, I suspect that you might find NPR’s programming more to your liking!

Rush is usually a perpetual optimist. The fact that he isn’t in this case is very telling, and telegraphing the grave nature of this situation. For the first time in our lives we are staring face-to-face into the death of America, due to Obamacare and this SC ruling.

That is moonbattish even a year ago?

Any thinking person could see the cliff years ago. My wife does not think like me, and so...I will be staying with her until the SHTF. And even then. But if it were me acting on my own, I would be prepping.

But it isn’t, so I will get to enjoy the...er...”ride”.

RINOs belong in a game preserve, not in Congress!

I think Rush is realizing that we are down to a single chance to reverse this. There are no checks and balances, and only the whim of the voters 4 months from now will determine whether we go over the edge.

There is only one battle plan now: decisive landslide for the Republicans, that will be the mandate to force them to repeal this. I’m concerned that a close victory for Romney will not send him enough of a message that we are serious, and that this better get done immediately.

With a close election, he and the congress may feel it is too much to go against the desires of the few who are currently benefiting from this bill. That it would be too harsh, and maybe we could just soften it a little. Blah blah blah.

Rush knows that he can’t make people vote, and he has to pray that they feel as angry about it as we do. There are so many people out there that don’t see anything wrong with Obamacare, because it doesn’t affect their daily lives.

I am already talking to my New Zealand office, just in case Obama does win.

Yeah because we now have the prospect of Roberts being a leftist on the court and if ghettobama wins and gets two more pics - ITS GAME OVER.

Not to mention the fiscal disaster we are facing at the hands of these radicals.

Well, latest Gallup says only 6% of the respondents had "health care" as their top priority. So how's "education" workin' out?

It is up to us to convince our families, friends, and neighbors that Obamacare is wrecking the economy.

This is what Rush is saying and he is right.

How do we go about winning, Rush?

Rush, like many people, still believe we have a representative republic in which the control of our nation's leadership can be made peacefully at the ballot box.

I no longer share that opinion. I believe that our only options are for the conservative states to either secede or engage in civil war, the sequel. IMO, our government is irreparably broken, the system is fraught with corruption and changing the faces in Congress or the WH doesn't change the corrupt system they have created.

These are things Rush can't say. His attacks on the SCOTUS are justified. The justices are selected on the basis of political orientation with Roe v. Wade being the benchmark. And, yet, they are supposed to be apolitical and rule strictly on a given law's applicability to established law and the Constitution. Rush, by going after the SCOTUS, is, essentially, shining a light on a fire. Before the ZeroCare ruling, we liked to pretend that the court's decisions were not predicated on political affiliation, but on the rule of law. Given the twists, turns and convolutions that CJ Roberts took to arrive at the majority opinion, there is no longer any pretense that the SCOTUS pays any attention to either established law or applicability to the Constitution, but to political affiliation.

The "whats" and "whys" of Roberts' actions have yet to be revealed and may NEVER be revealed. For now, it is what it is and we have to deal with it.

However, no matter how you slice it, our system is in serious trouble, America is dying before our eyes and our complacency will let it happen.

Agreed, it is tiresome. He should throw in some humor again, lighten up Rush.

Me too, but I stopped listening about 3 years ago when his show became all about Obama all the time.

Obama has been the #1 threat to Western Civilization since he was inaugurated.

Rush knows that and has programmed his show accordingly.

Exactly. We’re witnessing people getting into snits over those who are significantly more intelligent than they are concluding we are in civil-war triggering territory here. Once again the issue is liberty versus slavery.

Now is not the time for comedy.

Rush is also sending the message to Romney - whose advisors listen - to wake the F up and start campaigning and stop w the family vacations on jet skis!

Dennis Miller was just talking about optimism this morning. He’s not very optimistic at this point either. I haven’t been for a long time. I did have great hope the court would do the right thing—the conservative ones at least. I had no idea Roberts would pull this stunt, but a FReeper’s post the night before the ruling about how Rush “knew” something about Roberts or what he was going to do and couldn’t say got me concerned.

What we need to do is sign a petition for a Constitutional Amendment that forbids mandates against commercial inaction, and a secondary clause which prohibits taxes/fines/levies for same.

Rush needs to push this. We need to push this. mitt needs to back it or lose the election. If mitt backs this Amendment, I will back him.

Let it be known that the biggest mitt hater on the planet, Sirius Lee, will back him if mitt denounces his Frankenstein mandate and backs the Anti-Mandate Amendment.

Anybody who backs mitt and yet claims to be a Conservative will agree to this.

"I have been listening to Rush Limbaugh for over 20 years and he is now driving me crazy."

Too much...turn him off and 'work out' your whiney attitude in a more secluded place.

Have nice day.

Regrettably, I'm coming to the same conclusion. Even if (GOD help us) we manage to boot the big Zero out in November, the fact that the electorate in this country is even capable of electing such a monster bodes ill for the future of the Republic.
