I do not know this to be a fact yet would not doubt these SS numbers or associated account numbers have become extremely important to either a group or a number of nations. While I do not like to speculate why, there has to be a reason and with zer0care coming down the pike at breakneck speed one can assume there will be only one data base which will hold all the information on each citizen of the U.S. for some unknown reason.
