I first read about "Shutterfly" in Forbes, print edition,it's a place to store pictures and it's free. I found the following at the web site:
Benefits of a Free Shutterfly Membership
Our picture storage is free and unlimited. We never delete photos
We securely store your images at full resolution
Enjoy free personalized websites
100% customer satisfaction guaranteed
Plus, receive 50 free 4x6 prints
Pick up prints at Target, Walgreens, or CVS in as little as an hour
I currently have an account at "Photobucket" and post pictures at F.R. from that web hosting site but I doubt that they have unlimited storage at full resolution and I know from first hand experience that if you wait too long between visits to Photobucket, they will delete your account.
I haven't registered at Shutterfly yet but intend to and take advantage of the 50 free 4x6 prints offer. Does anybody here know if they also host pictures so they can be posted with HTML?

Link?
From their terms page: “Linking directly to images on Shutterflys servers from external sites is expressly prohibited.”
bump
I had the Kodak photo thing, but Shutterfly took it over.
I used to post photos to online sites like Ravelry (knitters, spinners, weavers, etc.) by using Flickr.
But then I thought I would try Picasa. I thought it was just like Flickr and believed I was just downloading a little program to aid in uploading. Unfortunately I did not read the user agreement which I certainly will do in the future. PICASA WHISKED *ALL* IMAGES ON MY COMPUTER TO ITS SITE IN SECONDS. That was not my plan. So now I need to delete all those photos from the online site! What a pain.
Thanks, that’s the info I was looking for. I guess I could have gone to the “terms” page myself but thanks for doing it.
I’ll probably set up an account anyway and keep my Photobucket account too.
