Well what can I say. Sorry for not being offended. I promise to try harder next time.

No problem, but I bet you wouldn't be so cavalier to a jumpers family.

I bet in your parlance, 9/11 is so 11 years ago, and Pearl Harbor is so 71 years ago.

Come on, DallasBiff, I would lighten up a bit. I agree with SamAdams76’s post. It IS a stretch. I don’t think it is bad or silly that you made the connection, we all make connections to things in unconventional ways.

However, to say someone is in denial because they don’t see it that way is a bigger stretch, imo.

How would I know?

I have a relative that was killed by a drunk driver but that doesn't mean I get all sanctimonious with people who make jokes about drinking and driving. I assume they didn't know about my relative and so they weren't trying to offend so I give them a pass.

There are a lot of reminders of 9/11 out there. Everytime I see a passenger plane flying low overhead, I get a little nervous (isn't it a little low to be flying in this area? is it off-course?). But I'm not calling for air travel to be banned.

It is usually liberals who are always looking to find something to be offended by and thus trying to make everybody around them walk on eggshells.

I'm not a "walk on eggshells" kind of guy.
