They might as well change the name of the town while they’re at it — Minnesota ping.

Could be the first brimstoneout since Sodom played Gomorrah.

They want tolerance but they’re not willing to show it to others.

And while we’re at it how about St. Louis, San Francisco, San Antonio, among others.

They are willing to call themselves the Aints? For some cash? Fine. If they are selling out, they should at least get the best deal possible. I suggest the "St. Paul Saints Dignity Auction". Highest bidder will win the opportunity to do with the St. Paul Saints team as they wish for one season. Dress them up! Call them names! Force them to fight each other in cage matches! Pimp them out in interstate rest areas! They do it all! Self respect? Not a problem! Family values? They don't even know the meaning of the word. Act fast! Cash only. No returns.

Well said.

I live in the St. Paul area and have loved going to the Saints games, but this disturbs me. You gotta understand, the Saints owner is well known for his unconventional showmanship in promoting the team, but this is going too far, even for him. I quite likely have already been to my last Saints game.

I’m sure you’re not the only one. The loss of the fan base and revenue from this boneheaded decision will affect them for years to come. They will regret it in no time.

Wonder what the tie-in will be for the Transgender Conference the following week?

“Mr. Paul Aints”, hmm. Now “Mr.” was derived from “Master” and that implies slavery, which means discrimination. And besides, doesn’t “St. Paul” refer to the Apostle Paul? so how can nobody be offended??

Somebody had to give final approval for this, and they have a name. The name of this person should be made public.

How about Lesbian day? The St. Paul Munchers. Then they can promote the first game played without balls.

If a group of local churches were to sponsor a game, I wonder if the team would be willing to change its name to “Followers of Christ who reject the False Doctrine of Atheism” or something similar? It may be hard to fit on the jerseys though...

Some Church should show up with hymnals and get the fans to sing Onward Christian Soliders really loud.

Right minded folks from all religious beliefs should demonstrate outside the stadium and hopefully some or all of the athletes (with God given talent) should refuse to play.
