Oh ha ha ha ... anyway, raw brains are kinda mushy. Basically you could scoop brains out with a spoon. What is done is the brain is fixed with formaldehyde which turns it kinda grey brown. This in a way hardens the brain. Now you can slice it to make sammiches.

Just finished a brain development class a month ago. It is amazing how much we don't know about the human brain. That really hit home when our youngest, Kathryn, was in neonatal. Lots of development taking place.

We actually had to teach her the sucking reflex. Amazing.
