Okay folks. Here is your quiz question for this a.m.:
What is the difference between Diet Coca-Cola in the red can and Zero Coca-Cola in the black can?
Nada. None what so ever.
The company decided that diet was a feminine term and needed something masculine sounding (and looking). Hence, they came up with Zero in a black can.
It is the same, exact recipe for both.
(I ran across this information while googling to find if there was a coke with no caffeine and no sugar on the market.)
Interesting...I’ll have to let my son know. He likes Zero Coke, not sure if he’s had a diet Coke. I used to by the caffeine-free Coke, it has a gold label. Hard to find, though.

I can tell the difference, or perhaps I “think” I can because I did not do a blind taste test. Zero tastes a bit “better” for me, than diet coke. Diet coke, instantly fake tasting. Coke Zero, still different than real coke, but better that Diet. I’ll have to try again, but it was not close for me.
I thought Diet Coke was sweetened with aspartame and Coke Zero was sweetened with Ace-K, is this true?
