My husband would agree with you! He has driven just about every part of the U.S. at one time or another and while he claims Boston is really really bad, he has only been hit in Miami. The officer who came to investigate the accident asked how long he had been there working and when he replied 3 weeks, the officer said, “and this is your first accident here?”

Indeed. Not a day goes by when I don’t see either an accident or its aftermath!

Well, Miami is only technically still part of the US, from all accounts. ;-)

(I’ve only been to the airport).

I hear the usual suspects sobbing about “gun control”-shamefully using senseless tragedy to push an agenda (ala Brady’s law), while in the meantime, the PD and other bomb experts are finding possibly explosive packages at the madman’s work site.

I’m sure I’m not the only one concerned that this mass murderer managed to get exposive materials openly delivered to him to make and arm enough IED’s at one location to cause death and a conflagration, and possibly more at his work location. Can just anyone purchase tear gas canisters and bomb-making chemicals?

Tear gas is stupefying, crowd control stuff used by cops to tame dangerous situations with armed bad guys-this murderer tossed it into a crowded theater to render his intended victims helpless and easier to shoot. Shouldn’t the weeping and wailing be directed at the availability of chemicals like that instead of guns and ammo? Just my opinion...
