I know O'Really got tons of emails at his station yesterday after his outrageous displays of ignorance on the guns issue....so I wanted to view his "mailbag" segment at the end of the show last night to see if he was man enough to include some of the brickbats we all know he received....and then to hear his smart-alec reply.

Guess what.......

The worst part is that people take what these clowns say as fact.

BOR made such an ass of himself last night.

Problem with BOR is he believes that someone should be looking out for everyone. He is a fan of big government, and may even think all the social programs/government support/safety-net stuff is the way America is supposed to function. Bet he even believes he wouldn’t be where he is without others, and that ‘he didn’t build that.’

That said, it is not surprising this new yukker seems to believe that regular folk should not have guns, and that plain mercantilism is bad.

Stopped watching him a good while ago after it became evident the phrase “who’s looking out for you” is code for “the government is there to help.”

He is in essence calling for gun registration without knowing that that is what he is calling for. Stupid.

Later in the program he congratulated himself for having a “debate” on the subject. I guess shouting so the other person can’t be heard could be called a “debate”, if you’re an idiot.

Wouldn't be the first time he's melted down.

And, for purposes of understanding the idea of 6000 rounds of ammo, Freepers who practice, feel free to report how long it would take you to go through 6000 rounds of ammo at the target range/how many rounds do you fire off in a typical practice session at the range?

Ted O’Baxter’s phone (and his masturbatory fantasies) have harmed more.”folks” than the guns of me and all of my fiends put together.

Anyone notice that the only sexual predators he “goes after” are pedophiles?

Embrassing beyond words how utterly ignorant people like Bill O are on gun laws.

I find that big-city people are some of the most provincial I've ever met, and ignorant of the tools needed for daily life outside their liberty-free bubble of police state.

Never forget this is the all-knowing, truth telling Bill
O’Reilly that never lets a show go by without telling you that’s he’s a “simple man” and how rich he is.

This is also the same man who was charged with harrassing phone sex by a female employee of his who was young enough to be his granddaughter. No telling how many millions he paid out to keep her out of court. This is the same hypocrite that claims he is always “looking out for the kids”.

I personally wish this arrogant blowhard closet liberal would take his act to MSNBC where he’ll certainly be appreciated for his views. He’s also loves to tell you how partriotic he is and how he supports the US military, when he didn’t have the decency to serve himself and dodged the draft like most liberals did in the 60s.

To: GlockThe Vote; y'all

I saw it, BOR looked like the pompous, smug, ignorant dolt he often does. He soundly imagines he can outshout and sniff away the facts presented inconvenient to his claims. He cannot; he digs in anyway.

Not only that it’s obvious he isn’t a deep thinker as you catch glimmers of his dubious logic or superficial understanding of complex issues during telling soliloquies, sometimes it seems his principles overwhelm his intellect! I gather that his popularity has more to do with his mainstreaming conservative-like or anti-leftist causes, and has sold it through force of charisma. I’ll give him credit here. And he isn’t a bad guy on balance and is a better alternative than many out there polluting the idiot boxes; but he ought to fervently seek wiser counsel of good research people and his informed guests (like last night) and be open to learning. Hard to do when you already know it all.

He's an idiot. He says you can buy an AK 47 at a gun show and nobody will know. Liar. You buy an AK 47 at a gun show and you still fill out form 4473 and the dealer will still have to do a background/approval check. Even at the gun show. I was disappointed the congressman didn't poijnt that out.

He says you can buy a full-auto weapon and nobody will know. Liar. You pay a tax, undergo a background check, and must keep law enforcement apprised of the gun's location (say, if you move).

He's whining about 60,000 rounds of "heavy duty ammunition." (As opposed to what, "light" duty.) He's whining that an FBI agent isn't assigned to such a purchase.

O'Reilly's an idiot. He doesn't realize that that are truckloads of such purchases, and yes, individuals buy such large shipments. A single range trip can easily expend several hundred rounds per person.

Okay I'm just a few minutes into the interview and he's shouted 60,000 rounds about 5 times. I'm sorry that the Congress person didn't correct him. Every report I heard was 6,000 rounds. Bill O'Reilly is a liar and a hysteric.

Good questions. Bill O’Reilly is like most reactionaries and just wants to do something feel good, but couldn’t give a damn about the consequences or whether it’s actually effective. What an ijit.

It’s a sad state of affairs when the Left thinks that the Fox news is way out on the Right.

How can a person in his position be that misinformed?

Yeah, and I want to walk into my local gun show and walk out with a machine gun, no checks.

Make mine Ma Deuce. And 60,000 rounds of .50BMG, at least a thousand of those tracers. Just for grins.

What a poltroon that man is.
