In re-examining my cache of several thousand 7.62 x 39 (yes they are for an AK 47), .223, OO BK, OOO BK, .45, .40, .38 Special +P, .380, and .357 to determine what I would buy next, I heard BOR spout off. Good thing I quit taking him seriously years ago.

It reminds me of the time that my son reviewed my armaments and said, “Dad, you have enough ammo to start a war!” I said, “No, I just have enough to end a small one.” I hope it never comes to that.

In the words of a local radio personality that is pro-2nd Amendment, when open carry was signed by the Governor in Oklahoma, “Guns for everybody!” As I have learned, it is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. Perhaps others will learn that lesson from the horrific events in Aurora. There is a reason that the Colt .45 was referred to as the Peacemaker.

In all honesty every patriot willing to fight should have 60,000 rounds. And avoid buying C-mags.

Most governmental organs have a low tolerance for ammo accumulation. Here in Maryland, it used to be that a collection of more than four hundred rounds (all calibers taken together) was considered to be an "arsenal." Not illegal to own or actionable in iteslf, but definitely DA bait.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, the police tell us that this man had an arsenal at his disposal! An arsenal!! He had enough ammo to kill poor Malik a hundred times over! How can an intelligent person believe that he was merely acting in self-defense.....?"

In these times it is wise to admit to owning no ammo at all.
