I wonder if the those handlers
On Obama’s team ever ponder
The way an absent teleprompter
Causes their prince to maunder?

Into the looking glass, darkly
He searches for an inspiration-
Stokes class warfare, then exits-
Must be time for another vacation

And nothing is enough to dispel
His snooty self-important haze-
I just hope he stays in it
For the next hundred-plus days

The term is “liming,” not “lollygagging”. And that’s coming to an end. Flying home tomorrow. Absolutely nothing going on here. Not ready. Workers stopping. Accidents happening.

Another 4.5 hour layover in IAH tomorrow.

Thank you for that kind thought-beginning at about 14, I spent a great deal of time pouting and envying the curves of my fellow females-it has only been in the last 10 or so years that I appreciate that time deals reasonably well with the wiry, less feminine form. But I certainly didn’t feel that way when I was young, and I still have curve envy...

It always gets better when you get closer to 30.

And my refrigerator has decided to suddenly quit-it is likely either the auto defrost switch, or the compressor, but it shouldn’t be happening at all, given the fridge is only 8 yrs old.

One of my neighbors dabbles in appliance repair, and he’s coming to look at it tomorrow-I’ve moved everything into the big freezer and the tiny little travel fridge I used to keep upstairs, but I’m not a happy camper at all-and I can’t afford another fridge at all, either, thanks to the lack of work.

There’s a lot to be said for not sagging! I turn 56 tomorrow, so I’m more conscious of visible signs of aging than heretofore. I am using some good quality high SPF sunscreen on my face and am concentrating more on trying to tan my legs than my upper body. Decided that looking tan is less desirable at this point than looking relatively youthful for my age. I’m looking forward to the massage I have scheduled for tomorrow. Xshub asked if I asked for a male or female! Of course I asked for a female! Though we were wondering what lesbians prefer, I’m betting they prefer males. He said why woukd they want a male if they’re gay? I said well that presupposes that bc I’m not gay I want a man? I think you’d want the opposite.

Well it was fun while it lasted! As far as budget goes isn’t there some way to ascertain their readiness for you prior to you getting there?

Hopefully it’s something relatively minor/easy to fix. Ours is about 14 yrs old and knock wood other than the ice maker malfunctioning and requiring repair its been ok. At this point stuff is going to start to go. Xshub wants to replace one of the A/C systems (we have a bifurcated system one cools upstairs, the other the rest).

Well, maybe closer to 40 or 50-and it is all in the individual perspective-I was still into body envy at 30. I wear the same size as I did at 30-I’m harder and weigh a few lbs less from physical work for the last 10 years. Guys don’t look at me any differently, and they still look at my buxom fellow females first but it doesn’t bother me like it used to-I’ve come to appreciate myself more.

That would require people to live in reality. And this is a govt oil company.

It’s hard to predict when the plant operators will decide not to work in protest.

And there was a fatality here this week, so that puts an even bigger stop to activities.

They want someone to return next week, but I think they’re dreraming. Doesn’t mean I won’t send one of my guys.

I agree-I’d prefer a female as well-there is just something unprofessional about a male touching a female’s unclothed body unless it is sexual, and a regulation massage isn’t supposed to be sexual-am I the only one who remembers that movie “Full Body Massage”? Not exactly regulation...

Oh, good God! I just turned on the 5, and they are talking about the USDA promoting some s*** called meatless Monday? What IS that? Don’t they know that for Catholics it has always been meatless Friday?
