One of the commenters on the Adam Smith "apology" VIDEO made the astute observation that Smith's "apology" sounded a lot like the "apology" made by Wesley, a hippie character in the movie "Forrest Gump," after he hit Jenny. I looked up the script of "Forrest Gump and the commenter was dead on in the comparison. Here is Wesley's "apology" to Jenny:
WESLEY: Jenny? Things got a little out of hand. It's just this war and that, that lyin' son-of-a-bitch Johnson. I would never hurt you. You know that.
And just like Wesley, Smith brings up extraneous political stuff to excuse his behavior. Also note that Smith calls Rachel "collateral damage." Sheesh!
I for one would like to know where and when he lands. His new employer should have some semblance of whom they are hiring and let them risk their company value structure by retaining his employment if they so determine it is worth it.
No mercy. The liberal world has no mercy upon religion and values and morals. This smarmy self avowed atheist who claims to have been Christian for 25 years (his wife claims this same thing too) have four children they are destroying and this so-called supporter of gay marriage and insufferable narcissist with a closet so deep that he is hiding in needs to learn that leaving Christ has a penalty. Liberalism is a mental disorder, no doubt about it.

Watched the whole video. He is doing a total CYA. World class Clymer. Big Time. Was not an apology. It was all about him.

Saw the movie again just a few days ago and that pair of scenes (when he slaps Jenny and gets his a** royally kicked by Forrest and later bus side as he gives the pathetic “blame the war” apology) were striking because they portrayed the character of the typical leftist so well. Loud and cowardly pri**s who get by with their acting out when their opponents are women or few in numbers. If that creates a situation where they lose something (like Jenny or their career) they’re incapable of taking responsibility and can only blame outside malevolent forces. Bullies who need to be handled in the only way that works with such ... sound pulverization.

It doesn’t seem as though this “apology” is winning over viewers. The “dislikes” now outnumber the “likes” by about 8:1.

Chick-fil-a and Rachel, no doubt, has put him over the edge (not the mention the hundreds of people that were enjoying a chicken sandwich that day) . . .
I have not watched the “apology”. If it is on youtube, does that mean he will get paid for hits? I just do not want to give guy any financial incentive.
