Yeah those shoes aren’t my idea of cute either - I liked Steelman’s boots though! Boots are surprisingly comfortable! Wow, what a bitch the writer of that article was! Admitting she wasn’t a fan of Palin’s politics then thrashing everything. lol Did she really expect Palin to be dressed in an expensive suit in the summer heat then serve bbq in it as well? i realized recently that i used to know Sarah Steelman’s sister. one of xsbaby’s best friends from elementary school was Travis, and his aunt is Sarah Steelman. Travis went to both Oakwood and then to Commonwealth Academy for a year or two with xsbaby. He was the one who brought in the Bush yard sign to taunt their dem teacher with back in 4th grade or so! xsbaby has always had at least one conservative friend to bond with in her class, luckily.
I wear hiking/construction boots pretty much every day-when I work, and when I hike-very comfortable, even the steel-toed ones I wear.
That said, I had a pair of those awful ankle breaker shoes just like Sarah’s in the 70’s-I wore them (with a mini-dress) on a date to the Folklife Festival, where I tripped over someone’s foot in the crowd at a beer booth and fell. My fiance grabbed my arm, and went and rolling down a grassy embankment with me. We stopped at the bottom unhurt, me with my dress over my head. Never, ever wore platform shoes or heels to an outdoor event again...
