What course of action would you advise her to take?

advice: go on with your life, stay away from this sick minded idiot, drop your desire to stay in the spotlight, and if you are a Christian, there is nothing to forgive here so don't drag your religion into it.

Not to meet with him personally. She could even go so far as to have a lawyer address a letter on her behalf with an acceptance of his apology.
