HEY OBAMA, I DID IT ON MY OWN.. Where were you when I needed HELP?

Here's a reason that elitist, or socialist, can/will, ever connect with the so called, "NEW MONEY" 1%ers, is that they have never taken the risk/gamble, or sacrificed, to become successful..

Not that anyone cares, but this is why I am reticent to jump out on another limb, and throw good money to expand, and hire more employees for the future, based on the word of a government, or a Marxist President, or socialist media that says I should take their word that they will not keep creating policies that will take everything I worked for and spread it around to curry favor for another lazy constituency to get their vote..

I was born to very humble beginnings, and spent the entire 1st half of my life struggling to be self sufficient. Every moment of my time, fighting to make payrolls, meeting unnecessary regulations, struggling for money, from banks, family, friends, and living without anything that allowed me to rest for even a minute..

I climbed on a bus every single day after school, from age 9 to go to my grandfather's newspaper stand in downtown Chicago, in 100 degrees, to -25, and never missed a single day, or resented other friends that had it a better than I did, but it became my sole reason to do much better..

I had one asset, my stubborn conviction, that if I gave my ALL, it might make the lives of my children better that the bitter feeling of going to bed every night hungry, and fearful, it will not be their fate. I had no lofty goals in the beginning, getting through the next payroll was all I had time for.

I never did it to be RICH, I did it to never be POOR, AGAIN..

Imagine, working 24/7, for the first 12 years of my business, without ever enjoying my young beautiful wife, wonderful babies or aging parents, while they were experiencing all of those memorable milestones..

I missed, all but 1 of their first steps, first words, school plays, trick or treat, the first recitals, weekends, most birthday parties that were not held at my restaurants, or even a Thanksgiving dinner at HOME, that only being there, would have made it all more bearable, and worthwhile..

My family learned to eat dinner EVERY night at 3:30, so we could eat together.. As the children grew older they began to resent it, because they had lives that I kept them from, so I wouldn't lose touch with them completely. My marriage suffered, things that were fancy, or expensive were meaningless, without time to share them..

The above scenario is not unique to poor little ole me, and those who have never put THEIR OWN MONEY on the line, how could they truly understand it?

You can measure the success of a person, by the length of their neck.. Just how far are you willing to put your neck on the block, with only your TOTAL DEDICATION, and HARD WORK, as the single deterrence to failure..

The only hand I received from a politician had their palms up, taking the money that I had worked for, and squandering it on those who I watched through the windows of the streetcar, or later from my car, smoking and drinking on the corner, or sitting on their front steps, waiting for the mailman..

I will certainly be voting—I’m just not sure what a win for Romney will mean. He’s the only choice I have.........

Hey Berry sorros, you did not do it on your own. It took $1B to elect this clown and thousands of liars.

My sweet woman.. I am as stubborn today, as I was as a young entrepreneur, we will WIN if all we do is kick the MARXIST out of power.. However, Romney is a businessman, and a capitalist, how is that for hope and change??? :)

HEY Obama...where were you when I needed you

When you look back at the history of your life, and notice there were
only one set of footprints in the sand; that was Obama carrying you.

It has cost us as much as 5 trillion dollars, for these despots to drag us into Communism, that may take years to unravel.. Let us start with a win in NOVEMBER, as a beginning!

This country is as much as $200T in the hole. No one knows. It took $1B in political donation to get obama in so he could spend Trillions. I think his pandering cost us over $20T.

I hear you carlo! My husband and I are beyond retirement age, trying to run a business, regularly skipping paychecks so that our employees are paid, etc, etc., etc. You know the drill. We are doing what you did the first half of your life in the last half of our lives. Obama says we didn’t do it ourselves, but I’d like to know who did it for us? I don’t see anybody else around here accepting empty pay envelopes. Although we are not working 24/7, we do work 18/7 at an age when we should be relaxing and enjoying the grandkids.

I’m not complaining, but I’m not accepting the cr!@#@#$%^&p that Obama hands out either. We have a Primary election for Senate next week, and we’ve already voted. Furthermore, I shall give Tuesday 16 hours at the polls working at the election. Then, I’ll get my nails done, estimate payroll for the following week, transfer the money into the payroll account, and take off for California to move my 99 year old mom into an assisted living facility. All the while hoping that the employees keep the business running in our absence.

This will be my 3rd trip to CA since June (Mom has been in rehab recuperating from a broken leg). I shall see the SAME PEOPLE in the medians of my home town holding up signs and begging for money. In the mean time, farmers are letting their crops go to waste in the fields because they can’t get pickers. The signs say things like “Funeral”, “Mom & I are just trying to make it”, etc. To the able-bodied young man begging for his mom, I say “Go pick fruit!”

I know he is both of those things-—but try as I might, I just can’t get excited about him.......

Actually, there aren’t many politicians that I am excited about at the present. The TEA party people are exciting, but apparently, they don’t stand much of a chance.

MY dear girl, I know exactly what you are feeling.. Do you think anyone that hasn’t had that helpless feeling, writing a check, twice as much as you give yourself, to an employee that goes home after work every night knowing that you probably are going to be asked to give 45% of what your check is, will be going to someone in their 20’s that will spend it on POT!

@!&##@#^^&##@66&(^()).. But I digress.. :)

Believe it or not, the biggest advantages we have for this election, is the Congresscritters, that are TEA PARTY CANDIDATES.. Romney can’t do much without a compliant Congress.. All of my efforts are going to congressman in liberal leaning districts.. They need as much as we can give..

We need the leadership posts too... You leave Rino’s there and it does not matter what the tea party does.

Those Echos ring hollow, if you are the only one hearing them.. We need to get the word out to all of the fence sitters, if we have any chance of success this cycle.. I truly understand the frustration of the lesser of evils, we get from the party, but, the only way to win is to chip away at the foundation of the wall, until it falls.. It happened in 1980, and it will happen again..
