From Politco: "On Wednesday, a lifelong friend, Major Tom Kennedy, an Army Ranger, was killed by a suicide bomber while serving in Afghanistan. We grew up playing hockey together, and went to high school together (where we played) before he went to West Point. He was in the first infantry to ride into the Iraq airport, and was on his fourth tour. Tommy leaves behind two little twins, Maggie and Brody, who turn two next month. We've established a fund to raise money (which will then be given directly to at the family trust when established).

Thats heartbreaking. My prayers for the family.
We are all beholden to the soldier and his family. Prayers lifted.
Prayers to the family. Sorry this happened. I wonder why they need money. They received 500 thousand from military insurance and then the wife will get his monthly pay for the rest of her life or until she remarries. The twins will receive Social Security survivor benefit until 18. Is there something different with this family?
